The Agrifood systems that encompass the journey of food from farm to table and beyond,
touch every aspect of our lives and reach every corner of the planet. Last year has been a challenging year for the global agri food system. It uncovered several structural weaknesses in the wake of challenges such as extreme weather events, supply-chain disruptions, geo-political tensions, international conflicts, and growing food wastage. The enormity of the challenge is evident from the fact that food security, climate-resilient agriculture, and agri-financing were the central theme of discussions at the recent G20 Summit in Indonesia. Therefore the need of reorganizing and revamping the entire global food system has gained much significance among the measures that lead to sustainability.

Against this background, Tefla's is organizing FSAFE to bring together leading representatives from International Organizations, Government, Business & Industries, Research & Academia, Civil Society, Producers, Farmers & Supply Chain in the hunt for solutions which will aid us all in reaching the goals of achieving Sustainability in the agri-food sector. The objective of the event is to deliberate on issues for creating a resilient, restorative, economically viable and climate-smart agricultural system that produces abundant and nutritious food, natural fibre and clean energy for a sustainable, vibrant and prosperous economy.
